Hmmm

I liked the Royer most, Neuamann was OK

in truth with another vocalist it could be exactly opposite.

i did find the Sonitronics mics to be a bit darker/deeper... and as such might be  a better choice for a male vocalist

as to the acoustic guitars... I'll stay with  condensers (for now)

I may take a gamble and get the Shiny Box with Luhndal xformer

go with your gut feelng. i must say the ribbons are way darker than i thought i remembered them.
those luhndal trannys really seem to open up a mic.
let me know what you choose and how it measures up to expectation please.
