what is it you wished you had never started

today i restrung my new (used) 12 string guitar after a hard days work geeez i wished i hadn't started half way through.
i remember thinking the very same at 2 am rewireing the patchbays one night too. It's a good job i have an understanding wife.
what's your "wished i'd never started" story?

not in order of dislike:

plumbing, drywall, digging ditches, roofing...

anything musical is pretty much a joy in comparison!
