Finally, set some toys up.

Hi all,
Moved into my house in September, and then last month I decided to set my stuff up. I wanted a dedicated room, but that meant I had to build another bedroom for my live-in carer, but I couldn't wait any longer so I decided to set most of it up in my entrance hall. It's actually worked out for the best because my entrance hall is big so I've got lots of room.

It all works. Unfortunately, because I'm using the Motu 2408 mk3 as a mixer for my synths, I can't use a couple of the synths because the MOTU hasn't got enough gain boost on its inputs. But, my favourite synths work fine through it.
Next month, I'm gonna invest in my first ever condenser microphone. Thinking a Rode NT1-A. One review said it hypes the upper frequencies a bit, but they said it's very good, so I don't know. I want one that'll be quite versatile and will do vocals, percussion, accoustic guitar, and those kinda sounds/instruments. Looking to spend about £150-£350. Any advice welcome.
Thanks,
Gaz

looks good!
The AT-4050 may be at the top of your range, but it's a very good all around mic (IMHO)
I have heard similar comments about the HF response causing some sibilance issues- I have the NT3's (pair) and the NTK and like those, but not sure I'd call aeither as "all around" as the 4050
