midi module and controller

heres the thing the keyboard/controller im currantly using is a yamaha cs2x on loan form a friend
i use it to make my backing tracks from midi files and record the audio
its going back to my friend soon and i will be without my beloved xg module (cs2x) i dont want to go back to using general midi
so im on the look out for a cheap (budgetless studio price range) alternative
any suggestions are welcome

I picked up[a Roland PC200 controller for $40... and I've seen other older "output only" models (Eidrol, etc) for about the same

IK Multimedia just had a killer deal on SampleTank.... uh... Xsomething $49.00 and it ended up being 7 additional 'libraries' (you're pick, loops or instruments)

check it out... i think it ends today (unless they extend it again)
