Anyone using the Mackie Universal Controolers? and the expanders?

I've got what looks like a realistic offer on my Control 24, so I'm looking at the Mackie... USB, no pre-amps, very little cables to/from

It will work with ProTools and most other platforms

well the Mackies are "unavailable" till late June... so now I'm looking at the Euphonix... a tad more $$$ but looks more versatlie

anybody?
