Carpet or wood floors?

just curious who has what-  If you have wood floors do you have "area" rugs? or is is just "naked" wood... (ooohh that sounds not so good)  ;D

If you have wood floors, is the ceiling acoustically treated? (any clouds?)

I'd posted this before the bamboo flooring was completely installed (originally carpet)-  my first chance to play in the room last night and it was GREAT!  Brighter, but not too bright, "Live'r", but not too live.

I have 2 sessions booked for next week so we'll see if my audio life is bliss or hell... but I'm thinking this is a major improvement(not that it was horrible before)... and probably a reason most commercial studios are NOT carpeted.
