Whats the best 2 channel DI to get?

Well it is difficult to say which is best. That depends upon what you want out of it and what you plan to use it on.

I prefer to use an active DI because I understand that they offer better sound quality. Those of us in small home studios usually need to stay on budget too.

Here is one that I think is nice. I believe it is a generic clone of the famous Countryman DI only in a two channel model.

I want to use it for Guitar and Bass. Can you also use it for mics?

If your mics are low impedance, (using an XLR type connector) then you won't need a DI for them.

I only have the 1 mic at the moment which is the Rode NT1-A Condensor.

though hard to find- the Bellari stereo tube direct box is tops in my book!  Why they stopped making these and no one else does either, is a mystery to me?  You may have to replace the tube (I think it's a 7025... can't remember)

this is my first choice for bass, guitar, and even the Rhodes

If anyone out there has one of these and doesn't like it, let me know!
