VST plug-ins (post your favorites!)
(1/1)

A couple I've found through other forums are:
http://stormrecordingstudio.co.uk/ (drum triggers, stereo enhancer, etc)
http://www.audiomastermind.com/browse-free_vst_plugins-5886988-1.html (just a big list of stuff)
http://www.moderato.ns.co.yu/17english.htm (VST instruments)

No, I'm using Reaper. Most plug-ins that have RTAS also come with other options so that you can use them in other DAWs. Unless it's the Digidesign plug-in suite, anyway. RTAS is proprietary to Pro Tools, so no one else can use it. As far as I'm aware, there isn't much advantage to them.
You'll find that everyone who uses Reaper (a lot of people, if you look at the forums) uses VSTs.

But, VST instruments are also welcome additions to the thread, if you have any of those.

Steve Massey's plug-ins are quite nice- but they're RTAS and TDM-
the free demos are unlimited usage, have most of the features, except the reset to the default each time
