anybody else have one of these-  low wattage- should make a great recording amp!

Those are great little amps!  A friend of mine uses one in his studio.  Another good recording amp is the Crate V18-212.  18 watts of Class A tube power, 2X12 speakers.  Purchased mine from A.M.S. last year for 179.  To bad Crate stopped making these... great amps.  Thinking about adding a Blackheart 5 watt tube amp to my collection.. those things are insane!

Hey Stainless.... Think they've made some changes on the newest models.  Ive provided a link to the Blackheart Little Giant 5W tube head.  They now have FIVE speaker outputs on the back of the head.  1@16 ohm, 2@8 ohm, and 2@4ohm.  These are screamin little tube amps.

That looks pretty sweet!  How much have you used it!?

I could sell the Orange, buy one of those and upgrade the tubes to NOS and still have some money left over!

I wonder if any of the local music stores have one to plug into?

well... I think I may not be a fan of Marshall 4 x 10 Celestion bottoms... tghis is the first Marshall I've ever owned ( played thru them... but one time deals... with some time to play and listen... I know why in 40+ years I never owned a Marshall

it's on Craig's List-

I wired it for 4 ohms and played thru my Mesa... still thin (better with buckers, but Fender pups.... weak.... ) Hendrix must have driven the crap out of these... course I don't play like jimi, nor am I pushing 100's of watts thru double stacks

The PRS sounded 'better' but not compared to the Mesa... then again maybe this isn't a fair comparison. The Tiny Terror has gain/distortion... but no balls

there I've said it... but maybe a new output tranny and push 4 ohms... it might sing

Hey Stainless:

Ive never played through one of the Blackheart Little Giant amps myself.  A friend of mine has one, and, ive heard them played several times at Guitar Center...(yuk....hate that store, always try out products there then buy ELSEWHERE!)

Heres a link to hear one... and there are several more videos of people using them readily available with just the click of your mouse once you get to this one!
